To add photos to your listing, please click on "My account" in the top right hand corner of the screen and from the drop-down menu click on "My home":
Once you are on your listing page, click on the "Pictures" section in the menu on the left and then click on the "Add images" button.
Remember to upload a minimum of 5 photos, otherwise your listing will not be 100% complete.
Small tip: larger and wide screen photos usually display better so if you have a possibility to add them like this, that would be great :)
Important: our members want to see what you love about your home and your area. You are liable for any photos added to your listing, so please make sure that all images are your own or are copyright-free images. You can find a vast collection of copyright-free images through various sources online.
Using your own images will ensure that your listing reflects the genuine charm of your home and the unique character of your area.
How do I change the order of my photos?
Hover your mouse over any picture and you will be able to:
- Delete it by clicking on the recycle bin icon
- Rotate it by clicking on the arrows that appear in the top left hand corner of the photo
- Move and change position by clicking on the photo and dragging and dropping it.
What type of photos should I upload for my listing?
Always try to add photos of the property itself rather than the neighbourhood in which it is located.
Photos of your neighbourhood are welcome, but the priority should be to show other members how your house looks inside and what they can expect. This will reassure other members that you are a real person and that your property does exist, and this will automatically inspire trust! We recommend to add a photo of each room of your home.
Listings with photos of your home's interior have a higher chance of finding an exchange!
I haven't been able to upload my photos, what can I do?
It might be because your photos are too large. The maximum size of each photo is 10MB. If you know how to reduce the size of the photo, you may do so. However, if you don't know how to solve the problem, you can always contact us.
